Hi Abby,
I really enjoyed your post and what you wrote about the book you read. I know that we often get overwhelmed when we go to seminars, even now as well as earlier in our career. One thing that helps me is to make a list of all the new ideas you got at the seminar. Then pick maybe 2 or 3 of the most important ones or the ones that would do you the most good right now and write them down with steps you need to make those ideas become reality. Just break it down into smaller steps.

So, how is it going in ALex? Did you get the job at the Y? All is good here, other than we miss you! We are working on stuff for this coming summer - new samples, mailing pieces, etc. Wayne started the outside clean up. That's a big job. Our nephew is helping him. That's about it for now.

Abby, I really enjoy reading your Blog! I just found it this morning and it is quite interesting. You are like your Mom and Tucker - LOL. Thanks for your explanation of being a "Hojem". Family is the BEST.
We also watched 'Julie & Julia' a few weeks ago. Meryl did a great job portraying Julia. I remember watching Julia on TV when I was growing up though had no idea how much she really wanted us American housewives to be able to cook a decent meal. French food is not me aside from the rare Crepes and quiches.
I will follow your blog as you cook your way through this year. It will be fun to get some new recipes for me to try, too. Thanks!
Love, Kris
